Our Services

LEAP to the Next Level

We do many things well. We facilitate crucial conversations, mediate conflict, evoke creative role-playing and visioning, and help with strategic planning, leadership training and development of individuals, teams and their organizations.  We offer these services one on one, in a team setting, workshops, retreats, or in keynote speeches and CLE’s.

At The Marron Alliance, we are so committed to your success, that if we don’t provide what you need, we will align you with someone else.

We provide these results through four types of services:  Leadership Strengthening, Executive Coaching (of individuals and teams) Advocacy and advanced speaking training, and  Programs (including keynotes, workshops, retreats and CLE/CEU seminars for professionals).

The creative process: Creatrix™

One of the key tools in our creative process is Creatrix™.  We are certified in this innovative program, assessment tool and patented e-coaching process, designed to increase the capacity for innovation within individuals, teams and organizations.  We use it to help clients identify their current level of creativity and risk-taking, and enhance their innovation as needed.  For more information, click here.

Diversity: The Gender Alliance™

In the area of diversity, we have developed a proprietary framework for mastering gender-balanced leadership in the workplace: the Gender Alliance™ . Kathleen Marron created the Gender Alliance™ model based  upon her extensive leadership experience as a trial advocate, board member, partner, mediator, and mentor/coach, as well as her research on behavior- and brain-based gender differences.  The Gender Alliance™ is a valuable tool for increasing gender intelligence in four key areas impacting effectiveness as a leader.

Leadership Strengthening

We believe that truly great leaders are made, not born.  While certain people undoubtedly have the gift of leadership, even good leaders need exercise to strengthen their leadership in order to become great.  These leadership-strengthening practices are not a mystery.  They are often authentic behaviors and mindsets that, if not already known, can be learned.

Core Leadership Competencies. We help strengthen leaders, emerging leaders and leadership teams by providing them with the knowledge, skills and training they need to become great.  In these challenging economic times, leaders must develop resiliency- the ability to derive clarity from chaos, to transform challenges into opportunities.  But how?  What are the core competencies of leadership anyway?  There are over 600,000 titles of “leadership” books on Amazon alone.

In our Leadership Strengthening services, we will share with you our research into the top five core competencies all leaders must master in order to succeed.  We then ask: How do these leadership principles apply to your strengths and business?  We help you articulate your own authentic Leadership Brand and compelling Vision.

In helping you create the Action Plan to achieve that Vision, we provide you with creative tools and practices designed to strengthen your leadership skills, and to overcome any obstacles in your path.  Think of them as your leadership “scales” or “exercises”.  As jazz great Miles Davis said “Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself”.

Transformational Leadership Teams. If you want system-wide leadership transformation, you need to start with the leaders.  We help you accelerate the changes needed by working confidentially with the leadership team first by (1) providing a framework on how to effect culture change, (2) identifying your unique leadership strengths and challenges as a team, and (3) helping you create a leadership strategy blueprint for transforming your team’s future leadership capacity.

Gender and Leadership. In the area of gender diversity, one of our cornerstone tools we use for mastering gender intelligent leadership is  The Gender Alliance™.  We use this proprietary, global coaching framework to equip women and men (and their teams) to lead with more gender intelligent styles and skills in four key areas.  Instead of relying upon only one perspective or theory, Kathleen Marron created the Gender Alliance™ model based upon her extensive research and study of the field of gender differences in leadership, behavior, communications, and decision-making, as well as her own experiences as a leader, law partner, trial advocate and mediator.

Executive Coaching

We work with individuals, teams and groups who seek to take their careers and businesses up to a new level, yet need help in making the changes needed to get there. What sets us apart is our creative, holistic approach, with a laser focus on deeply understanding our client’s strengths, values and needs; then connecting them to dynamic business performance and results. Whether you are already in the “C suite”, or you want to “see sweet” advancement in your career and future, we will recommend the type of services that make the most sense for you based upon your needs and budget.

Who or what is an “executive”?  We know one thing it’s not: a title on an org chart. Peter Drucker called executives “those knowledge workers…who are expected…to make decisions…that have significant impact on performance and results”. If you are such a decision-maker, you are an executive, regardless of your title.

Individual Coaching.  These are one-on-one sessions, typically in person, designed to accomplish your specific coaching goals related to your career and business. While the goals vary widely, some examples might include proactively designing a Career Advancement Plan that maximizes the value of your unique strengths; becoming a more competent professional and effective “rainmaker”; enhancing your communication and leadership styles for greater influence and career advancement; aligning your values and passions with your work; using your creativity to conceive “marketing” plans and practices that work; planning for a season of “on-ramping” or “off-ramping”, or taking a sabbatical; preparing for an anticipated or desired promotion or career transition.

Candidates for our individual Executive coaching services include professionals, consultants, and entrepreneurs as well as executives in small and large businesses.

Teams and Team-building.  These are in person sessions with the entire team designed to create an action plan to take your team from “Good to Great”. We typically also include at least one individual coaching session with each team member. Our focus is in equipping strengths-based teams with the capacity, confidence and culture needed to succeed.

The team coaching sessions are customized and structured to achieve each team’s unique goals. We work closely with the team leader(s) in designing each session so the team can be aligned with the leadership and business strategy of the organization. Examples include aligning team strategy; enhancing team dynamics, systems & communications; building strengths-based teams; merging two or more teams.

Group Coaching.  We provide group coaching for organizations seeking to introduce executive coaching to their rising talent in an economical way. Typically, these contracts include at least one individual session with each member at the outset, one assessment, monthly group sessions, and one to two followup individual sessions, either by telephone or email for spot coaching as the Coaching Action Plan is implemented.

Our Coaching Process: We provide you with a Coaching Action Plan, derived from our Hudson Institute training.

Generally, we begin by detecting your strengths, values and passions (individually, as well as a team), as well as identifying any missing strengths or blind-spots. We help you design your own inspiring vision of the future, together with an action plan and SMART goals to achieve that vision. We help you anticipate and plan for any obstacles in your path- to transform stumbling blocks into stepping- stones. During the coaching relationship, you will begin new practices for sustaining the changes needed, all while creating your Action Plan to get there, so that your learning is transformed into results. For sustainable change, we recommend a minimum of at least eight to ten sessions.

Advocacy & Communications Training

You are what you communicate.  An authentic voice, a compelling story, stands out in an electronic world where there’s too much information and so little wisdom.  We believe in developing speakers with purpose, power and persuasion.

Trial and Appellate Advocacy.  Are you preparing for an important trial or appellate argument, and don’t have time to wait for the next NITA course?  Have you been trying cases for years but need to enhance your advocacy skills to get different results? We use a variety of techniques, storytelling training and interactive video feedback to ensure you tell your clients’ stories with power, persuasion and presence.  Our founder, Kathleen Marron, also consults on litigation and mediation for a few select clients.

Speaker training. Are you preparing for an important speech, your first board meeting or a key presentation? Even if you have been a trial or appellate lawyer for years, this type of speaking requires a different perspective and approach.  We use a variety of techniques and interactive video feedback to enhance your speaking ability for different audiences and maximum influence.

Gender and Communications.  In the area of gender and communications, there are over 4,000 books on Amazon alone, ranging from superficial to significant.  Instead of relying upon only one perspective or theory, we use a more global framework for mastering Gender-balanced communications:  The Gender Alliance™.    Kathleen Marron created the Gender Alliance™ map based upon  extensive research and study of the field of gender differences in leadership, behavior, communications, and decision-making, as well as her own experiences as a leader, law partner, trial advocate and mediator. We use this proprietary coaching model to equip women and men (and their teams) to communicate more persuasively, in the courtroom and the boardroom.
